TO: PARENTS AND GUARDIANS As we come to the end of another successful session, we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your continued support and involvement in your child’s education. We truly appreciate the trust and collaboration you showed throughout the session. We pray that God will continue to bless you, protect and provide for you. We also want to use the medium to thank our staff for their commitment and hard work. May God continue to bless them, provide, and protect them. The students successfully finished the 3rd term exams.  Please find enclosed Result Checker card for   your child’s/ward’s result.  Scratch the back of the card for the pin number. Follow the steps printed at the back on how to use the card. For checking of the results, please go to our portal: www.inglewoodportal.com    If you need further assistance on how to access the result or clarifications on the results, contact the principal on 08023846032 or 08060911833.   You can also contact your child’s class teacher and/or subject teachers on the growth and achievements of your child on his/her academic journey. The JSS 3 students have finished their BECE examinations. The SSS 3 students are done with their WASCE and almost done with NECO SSCE.  As we await their results, we pray and strongly believe they will come out in flying colours. The school will organize four weeks holiday coaching from August 4, 2025 to August 29, 2025. Time is 9am to 1 pm Monday to Thursday. The holiday Coaching fee is Seven Thousand Naira (#7,000). There will be a lot of fun, skills acquisition and learning. Please do not allow your child/ward to miss out on it. Find the list of books for the upcoming session in the school’s website. Most of the books will be available for purchase in the school’s bookshop as from 3rd week in August. Please check the books and stationery you want to buy before coming to the school to buy. We do not accept return of books or exchange. Pay into the bank, make transfer or use the school’s POS when you get to the school. There will be an entrance examination into the school on August 9, 2025, at 9 am in the school’s hall. The registration forms are available in the school or at the schools’ website. We understand that the financial aspects of schooling are an important consideration, and we greatly appreciate your continued support of our schools. As you know, Inglewood schools strive to offer a nurturing environment where our students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In order to maintain the high standards of education, extracurricular programs and facilities that will aid teaching and learning and be able to retain our professional, experienced and dedicated staff, we have carefully reviewed the school’s operating costs for the upcoming 2025/2026 Academic session. The primary reason for the fee increase is the rising costs associated with maintaining and enhancing the quality of education. Over the past two years, there have been significant increases in the costs of staff’s salaries, classroom materials, teaching aids and upgrades, school maintenance and so on, which directly impact our ability to continue providing the best educational experience at the present school fees.  By adjusting our school fees, we aim to improve and expand our facilities, increase the staff salaries, and ensure we continue to uphold the quality of education our great schools are known for. We, honestly, understand that a fee increase may present challenges for some families, we are exploring payment plan options to assist families who may be affected. We greatly appreciate your continued trust and support as we work together to provide the best possible education for your child/ward. We are confident that the planned improvements will create a more enriching and supportive learning environment for all students. Below is the school bill for first term 2025/2026 academic session.  Please check the amount to pay before making payments. The school fees are not refundable either in part or whole. Also use ONLY the correct bank details in this Newsletter for the payment. ANY PAYMENT MADE INTO FIRST BANK INGLEWOOD ACADEMY SAVINGS ACCOUNT NUMBER  3041135964 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS PAYMENT OF ANY FEES since we cannot withdraw the money. The account has been frozen since and has not been in use for years. Any money paid into it cannot be withdrawn. The bank accepts payment into the account but will not allow us to withdraw from it.  We have been writing the bank to close the account completely for some years now but to no avail. We have also informed parents in writing several times, but some parents still pay into it even when it is not listed as the school’s bank details. The school will resume for 1st term 2025/2026 academic session on the 15th September 2025. We look forward to an exciting and fruitful new session as we expect parents to collaborate more with the school in their children’s learning by being more involved in supporting their children’s progress at home Thank you once again for your continued support and understanding. TO: PARENTS/GUARDIANS We have come to the end of another academic session.  We give thanks to Almighty God who made it possible. We would like to use this opportunity to thank our dear parents/guardians and the staff for their support to the school and the students throughout this academic session. May God continue to bless and provide for you. Please find, enclosed, your child’s Result Checker Card (scratch card). The PIN is printed at the back. Please scratch it. The PIN enables you to have direct access to your child’s/ward’s result. Just follow the steps printed at the back on how to use the card. Please take out time to look at your child’s/ward’s result and have a discussion with your child concerning the result. We made a minimal increase in our fees effective 2023/2024 academic session. This is to enable us cope with the rise in inflation while still providing good educational services to our students Registration for 2023/2024 session is into our Nursery, Primary and secondary schools is in progress. Kindly obtain the forms in the school and bring your child/ward for our entrance exams that will hold on 12th August, 2023, at 9am in the school for the secondary, and any day for the nursery and primary between the hours of 9am and 2pm. We plan to have an exciting four weeks holiday coaching between, 31st July to 25th August, 2023, Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm. The fee for the holiday coaching is N6,000 (six thousand naira).  We encourage our parents/guardians to enroll their children/wards as it will help to productively engage them during the holidays. The school will inform the parents and students in JSS 3 and SSS 3 about the fees for all the external exams that will take place next year as soon as the exam bodies release the information to us.  It is the school policy that those students in these two classes should pay their third term school fees with the first and second term school fees and should pay fully before the end of second term or the start of the exams, whichever one comes first. Textbooks and stationery will be available for sale in the school’s bookshop, from the 2nd week in August, 2023. Please pay into the bank and bring evidence of payment for your desired books. NOTE that we do not accept returned books or exchange books anymore. We advise you make sure of the books and stationery you want to buy before buying since we will neither accept any book you have bought back nor replace it with another.
